REPORT: £500K Move ‘All But Done’ With Celtic Poised To Miss Out On Messi-Like Irish Starlet

West Ham are set to beat Celtic and a number of English Premier League teams to the signature of Cliftonville winger Sean Moore, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

The newspaper claims the deal, which could be worth up to £500,000 including add-ons, is “all but done” with the 17-year-old set to make the switch to the Hammers this summer.

Along with the Hoops, Newcastle, Everton, Brighton and Ipswich Town were also pursuing Moore’s signature, but a transfer to the London Stadium is set to be rubberstamped.

The teenager has been compared to Argentinian legend Lionel Messi due to his style of play, and he has already made an impact at senior level.

Moore has played 26 matches in the Northern Irish Premiership this campaign, scoring five goals and providing three assists. You do wonder, though, how much game time he will get at West Ham, but it seems the youngster has made up his mind where he will be playing next season.
