REPORT: Celtic May Accept Just 13.5M For Star Who Is Being Tracked By Two European Giants

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard’s valuation is between €15m (£13.5m) and €20m (£18m), according to Calciomercato.it. The Italian website claims that both AC Milan and Juventus are weighing up potential bids for the France Under 21 international.

Reports have previously suggested that the Hoops will hold out for as much as £30m for the 22-year-old but, with the player closing in on the final 18 months of his contract, his asking price may have to be reduced.

It is probably the case that Celtic would only accept the lower figure for Edouard if his form doesn’t pick up in the second half of the season, and he refuses to sign a new deal, forcing the Scottish champions to sell next summer.

If, on the other hand, he begins to start scoring again, there will likely be a lot more competition for his signature. Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Arsenal have been mentioned as possible suitors in the past and their interest, along with Milan and Juve, would certainly push up his price.
