Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster was the hero as the 31-year-old saved a penalty and pulled off a string of saves in the 1-0 win over Rangers in the League Cup final yesterday.
Unsurprisingly, after such an excellent performance, supporters on Twitter have been calling on the club to sign the shot-stopper on a permanent basis from Southampton:
Sign him or Christmas is cancelled ?

Forster has been a revelation since returning north of the border. The Englishman has shown he is a big game player, coming up with crucial stops when his team needs him most.
Finances could yet be a stumbling block to any deal going ahead. The keeper’s £70k a week salary will be a major issue while Southampton are also likely to push up their asking price following his excellent form.
Forster, himself, would no doubt love to stay permanently, and while that may help in negotiations over wages, the big question mark is over whether Celtic have the resources to pay the requisite transfer fee.
