Sky Sports Pundit Sees Celtic Star As A “Great Fit” For Tottenham As He Salivates Over Link Up With Harry Kane

Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd has lavished praise on Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard who he believes has everything in his game to be a top-level footballer.

The Frenchman has been linked with moves to the English Premier League in recent months, and Boyd thinks a switch to a club like Spurs could be ideal:

“Tottenham would also be a great fit for him. He’s linked superbly with Leigh Griffiths during their time together in Glasgow, so the prospect of him playing alongside Harry Kane would be a mouth-watering one for Spurs fans.”

“Edouard has everything you want in a modern striker. Whether he leaves Celtic this summer is down to him.”

Edouard is said to be on the radar of Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal, as well as a number of other clubs, but Celtic supporters will be hoping that the striker commits his immediate future to the Hoops.

The 22-year-old has two years left to run on his current deal and while selling up this summer could bring in a significant amount of money, prices are likely to be deflated due to the current financial climate.

Celtic could well be better off keeping hold of him for another year and tieing him down to a new contract.
