Talks over extending Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic’s contract have stalled and the Hoops are now anticipating bids for the player during the January transfer window, according to reports in the Scottish media.
The Croatian still has three and a half years remaining on his current deal but the club will seemingly listen to bids for the defender in the New Year.
Most fans on Twitter are not overly surprised that Juranovic could be leaving Parkhead, and they are hoping the club can get a decent fee:
I think this has been coming. Best of luck to him and hopefully Celtic can make a bit off of a sale.

Time to cash in I think, his value will be highest after the World Cup

As much as he had a great season last season this season he has been massively underwhelming

Good offer … sell on. Ralston is ready for the job

His current deal runs until May 2026 so no immediate rush. However as has been shown in past if he wants to move on best to cash in & reinvest.

Very good player. But if he moves on then so be it. Make sure we get top dollar and re invest

I’m happy with that – have confidence in Ange (and club) to sell well and replace well.

Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are the two teams that have been linked with the 27-year-old in the past, and it’s likely that more clubs will enter the running for his signature if he does have a successful World Cup for Croatia.
Juranovic joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw for £2.5m in 2021 and the Scottish champions will be hoping to make a good profit on the right-back.
