‘This Just Doesn’t Sit Or Feel Right’ ‘Delete Right Now’ Celtic Fans Upset After Club Makes Shock Announcement

Celtic captain Scott Brown will leave the Hoops at the end of the season, the player and the club have confirmed.

The 35-year-old has spent the last 14 years at Parkhead but the club legend says he is leaving the Scottish club to take on a new challenge:

“It is a huge decision to leave this magnificent club, which has been such a massive part of my life for so long, but this is a new opportunity for me and a new chapter. Celtic will never leave me and the Club will forever be in my heart.”

Supporters on Twitter are extremely unhappy with how the club have allowed Brown to leave in such a manner:

Aberdeen have already confirmed that Brown has signed a pre-contract agreement with them to become a player/coach at Pittodrie next season under new manager Stephen Glass.

Brown played alongside Glass for four years at Hibernian and their close connection likely persuaded the midfielder to make the switch. Even so, it is still a big surprise that the club captain has decided to leave and move on to pasture’s new.

During his time at Celtic Park, Brown won an astonishing ten league titles, six Scottish Cups and six Scottish League Cups. He will go down as one of the greatest players in the club’s history.
