Celtic transfer target Hugo Bueno is “open” to joining the Scottish Premiership champions, according to TEAMtalk.
The website claims that the Wolves defender will be pursued by the Hoops once again at the end of the season despite having failed in an attempt to bring him to Glasgow back in January.
Brendan Rodgers’ side made an offer to take Bueno on loan for the rest of the campaign but the proposal was knocked back by Wolves.
It is not certain, though, whether they will have any better luck in securing his signature at the second time of asking. With another left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri also the subject of interest from other teams, Wolves may be reluctant to let Bueno go.
Why are Celtic interested in Bueno?
The Hoops need to strengthen their options on the left-hand side of defence. Alexandro Bernabei is not expected to stay at Parkhead, with Internacional having the option to buy him at the end of his loan spell, so a replacement will be needed.
Bueno does have the credentials to provide Greg Taylor with better competition for his place. He has experience in the English top flight as well as being a Spanish Under 21 international.

TEAMtalk report that Bueno does have interest from other clubs in France and Spain which means securing his services won’t be straightforward.
Celtic would be hoping to snap him up for a relatively low fee but that seems unlikely. Not only will there be more competition for the defender, it looks as though Wolves may offer him more game time next year.
It is thought his main motivation for moving to Scotland would be to play on a regular basis so, if his current team do give him guarantees, it could become another stumbling block.
