‘Well Worth A Punt’ ‘Bargain Basement Signings’ Celtic Fans On Twitter Debate Move For £1.5m Rated Australian International
Celtic are interested in Hibernian winger Martin Boyle, according to reports in the Scottish media, but Jack Ross’s side are said to be holding out for £1.5m.
It remains to be seen whether the Hoops will opt to pay the asking price, but the interest appears to be genuine after Head of Football Operations Nicky Hammond was seen scouting the player during Hibs’ 2-1 win against Hamilton on Wednesday evening.
The Scottish champions’ pursuit of Boyle has sparked a fierce debate about the Australian international on Twitter in recent days:

Boyle’s arrival at Celtic Park would certainly raise question marks over the future of Marian Shved. The Ukrainian has only played 15 minutes in the Premiership this season and hasn’t even featured in a matchday squad since October.
In stark contrast, Boyle has been a regular for Hibernian, making 17 appearances in all competitions this campaign, scoring six goals and contributing six assists.
