Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston has settled in very quickly at the Hoops following his £3m move from CF Montreal.
The Canadian international has not looked out of place since arriving during the January transfer window and fans on Twitter have been praising the defender:

Considering Josip Juranovic performed so well during his time at Celtic Park, many feared that Johnston may not be up to the task, after some rather unconvincing displays for Canada at the World Cup.
However, he really hasn’t put a foot wrong for the Scottish champions so far, putting in some solid defensive performances.
If there is one criticism, it would be that Johnston could perhaps offer more in the final third of the pitch, but you do feel he is getting a better understanding of his teammates in every match he plays. The defender seems to be another inspired purchase by manager Ange Postecoglou and the recruitment team.
