“Zidane Recommends Him” Celtic Star Tipped To Make Stunning 22.2M Move To Real Madrid

Real Madrid are interested in signing Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to Spanish website Defensa Central.

The France Under 21 international is said to be an economical alternative to the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, with the La Liga side struggling to find funds due to the financial impact of the global health crisis.

Manager Zinedine Zidane has apparently looked at Edouard, who he has kept track of since his early years at Paris Saint-Germain, and Defensa Central report that “Zidane recommends him” as Real consider potential options to strengthen their forward line

The website reports that Celtic may sell Edouard for between €20m (£18m) and €25m (£22.2m) in the summer with the player closing in on the final year of his contract, and his price could also attract other clubs.

West Ham have been mentioned as another potential destination in recent days, while the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Juventus and AC Milan have also been linked with the player.
