Celtic attacking midfielder Ryan Christie put in another great performance in the 2-0 victory over Cluj in the Europa League last night.
Although the 24-year-old did not contribute with a goal or assist, his all round game was pretty exceptional, putting in crosses, winning tackles, taking shots and even making clearances.
Supporters on Twitter were praising Christie for another outstanding game for the club:
Best player on the park for me. His energy and pressing was tremendous. Great team performance.

Announce long term contract
— Liam (@LiamBronaldo) October 4, 2019
Christie has just under three years left on his contract at Parkhead, and he signed his new deal only last November, but his excellent form could be rewarded with an extension in the not too distant future.
So far this campaign, he has scored eleven goals and provided five assists in only 18 appearances. Those are incredible numbers for an attacking midfielder.
Christie’s performances will undoubtedly be noticed by other clubs, but fans will be hoping to see him perform in the green and white hoops for many more years to come.
