Celtic right-back Jeremie Frimpong scored his first goal for the club as the Hoops smashed Aberdeen 4-0 at Pittodrie yesterday afternoon.
The summer signing from Manchester City made his second successive league start, and he continues to impress despite his young age. Fans on Twiter have been praising the 18-year-old’s performances:
Brilliant again today

@MGH there's our Bhoy Frimmy. Better than the old Manu Frimpong for sure.

Frimpong’s goal demonstrated how attack-minded he is as a fullback. The Dutchman made a lung-bursting run into the box to get on the end of an Odsonne Edouard cross just 15 minutes into the game.
The defender is currently keeping both Moritz Bauer and Hatem Abd Elhamed out of the starting eleven for league matches, with both fullbacks having been named on the bench by manager Neil Lennon.
Of course, Frimpong still has a long way to go in his development as a player but the signs are extremely promising that he could turn into another hidden gem discovered by the club.
