Celtic Ace Scores Twice As He Makes Stunning Debut At International Level

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard scored two on his debut for France’s Under 21s as they came out 4-0 winners against Albania in a friendly last night.

The 21-year-old started the game on the bench before manager Sylvain Ripoll gave him his chance midway through the second half and he made an instant impact on the match.

Edouard slotted home after some confusion in the Albanian defence on 77 minutes before he made it 3-0 just a minute from time with an excellent finish which went in off the post.

It’s been a great seven days for the Frenchman after the forward opened the scoring in the Old Firm derby win against Rangers last weekend.

France Under 21s face the Czech Republic in another friendly on Monday evening before Edouard returns to Celtic. Fans will be hoping he doesn’t pick up any knocks while he is away on international duty ahead of the match against Hamilton Academical next weekend.
