Celtic and Brazilian Giants Make Contact With £10m Rated Zimbabwean As Agent Speaks Out On Player’s Future

Celtic and Flamengo are among the clubs that have made contact with Le Harve regarding Tino Kadewere, according to reports in the French media.

Lyon are also in the mix for the Zimbabwean international, but speaking about interest from the English Premier League, the player’s agent Jihed Taniche said there was no truth to the rumours.

“I have seen Kadewere’s name associated with English agents and others in recent days in the English press, that is absolutely false! It is always the same story: a number of intermediaries try to insert themselves into the situation.”

“I am the only representative of the player, the only individual who has the right to talk for him. No mandate has been given to anyone, not by me, nor by Le Havre. All the scenarios are possible.”

“Tino could very well be transferred and then loaned back to Le Havre to continue until the end of the season. We are working in close collaboration with Le Havre to find a solution that will enable to club to achieve its goals. We are talking with some clubs abroad and in Ligue 1.”

Bournemouth and Southampton were also believed to be keen on Kadewere but those claims look to be wide of the mark at this stage.

Reports in England earlier this week had said that Celtic were looking at the Ligue Two striker as a possible option to strengthen up front, but his £10m asking price could prove a major obstacle.

Kadewere is not letting the speculation about his future affect them, though, with the 24-year-old having scored the winner for Le Harve in their 1-0 win over Niort in a league game last night. He has now bagged 17 goals in 19 appearances this campaign.
