Celtic Injury News vs Dundee United

In this week’s Celtic injury news, a couple of first team players could make their return to the squad. In Celtic’s last game against Greenock Morton, which they won 5-0, there were several senior players who missed out due to injury.

Four of Celtic’s players missed out on the matchday squad against Morton – Georgios Giakoumakis, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Benjamin Siegrist and Anthony Ralston. All four of these players could potentially return against Dundee United – but some are more likely to play than others.

Georgios Giakoumakis was said to be ready to play against Morton – however, he missed out on the squad. Due to this, it can be expected that he’ll make his return against Dundee United. Postecoglou has insisted that his exclusion from the squad has nothing to do with transfer speculation surrounding the player.

Meanwhile, Carter-Vickers, Siegrist and Ralston are all doubts for the game on Sunday. Of these, Ralston is expected to be absent with a back problem, though he could be fit to play in Celtic’s game against Livingston on Wednesday, February 1. The other two are 50/50 at the moment, with no confirmation as to whether they will be available or not.

Celtic will take on Dundee United at Tannadice Park on Sunday, January 29. Can the Celts come out on top?
