Celtic Set To Appoint Two Coaches To Work Alongside Postecoglou As His Backroom Staff

Celtic’s prospective new head coach Ange Postecoglou will be bringing two assistants with him from Yokohama F Marinos, according to reports in the UK.

The Australian will be joined by John Hutchinson and Shaun Ontong at Parkhead, will all three expected to be officially appointed by the club near the start of next week.

It has been a long-drawn-out process to find a permanent replacement for Neil Lennon, but it seems the Hoops have finally been able to get their man.

Celtic had to agree a compensation package with Yokohama, while there were some concerns regarding Postecoglou’s lack of a UEFA pro coaching license, but these issues have seemingly been resolved.

It is believed that the Scottish club’s attention will now turn towards finding a new Director of Football. Frontrunner Fergal Harkin is no longer thought to be a contender and there are currently no other standout candidates for the position.
