Premier League clubs are “definitely” keeping tabs on Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, according to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.

The journalist claims that, while some English teams may be concerned about the level of control that the Australian would demand, he does have plenty of admirers south of the border:

“I think clubs in England are definitely looking at him and it’s no surprise to see his name around in the bookies’ markets for the next manager of these jobs.”

Leicester City and Wolves have both been mentioned as potential destinations for Postecoglou. The latter currently don’t have a manager after sacking Bruno Lage so we shall see how that develops.

Whether Postecoglou would consider leaving a team who is playing in the Champions League for one that is struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table, it seems doubtful.

Postecoglou’s stock has risen to the point where some pundits have even tipped him to move to Liverpool and Chelsea in the future. For now, though, the 57-year-old will be focusing on his job with the Scottish champions.
