YET ANOTHER EPL Club Is Now Weighing Up Whether To Hire Postecoglou As Their Next Manager

Wolves are considering whether to make an approach for Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, according to reports in England.

The Australian has been linked with Brighton and Leicester in recent weeks, while he has also been backed to become either Liverpool or Chelsea manager in the future.

However, it appears that, after sacking Bruno Lage at the weekend, Wolves are looking at Postecoglou as a potential replacement. The Midlands clubs do usually hire Portuguese coaches due to their close connections with superagent Jorge Mendes but it is felt the Australian could be a special case.

They are believed to have been impressed with how he is gone about his business after arriving at Celtic Park last summer. There are, though, doubts about whether the 57-year-old would leave his current post, and that is borne out at the bookies where he is only fifth or sixth favourite for the job. The current frontrunner is Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim.
