Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart did not cover himself in glory after effectively giving away a goal in the 3-1 defeat to RB Leipzig on Wednesday evening.
At 1-1, the 34-year-old passed directly to Dominik Szoboszlai who offloaded the ball to Andre Silva for the Portuguese striker to slot home from close range.
It was an error that fans won’t forget any time soon and supporters on Twitter have been discussing whether Hart’s mistake merits him being dropped from the starting eleven:
Well said.

He’s made a number of big mistakes lately.
His form is poor. I’d drop him for Siegrist.

The main reason why Hart lost his position at Manchester City was due to his poor passing, and it seems it is something that Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou is prepared to live with.
Hart has been pretty reliable since he took the gloves at the start of last season, so it’s unlikely that one bad performance will lead to him being replaced. It will be hoped, however, that the mistake against Leipzig was simply a one-off.
