“He Said NO…” Sky Journalist Reveals 1.3M Rated German Ace Has Rejected Move To Celtic

Arminia Bielefeld winger Robin Hack has turned down a move to Celtic, according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.

The journalist claims that the Hoops were “interested” in signing the German Under 21 international but the player prefers to make the switch to Swiss side FC Basel instead:

It’s likely that Hack was considered before Ange Postecoglou’s side sealed the signature of Rubin Kazan attacking midfielder Sead Haksabanovic.

The Montenegrin international plays in similar positions to the German, and he is thought to be worth a similar amount.

While Hack’s asking price is said to be between €1m (£850,000) a week and €1.5m (£1.3m), Haksabanovic has reportedly only cost slightly more at around €2m (£1.7m).

The 23-year-old won’t be involved against Dundee United this weekend as he looks to build up his fitness. He hasn’t played any football since the end of May so don’t expect him to be starting games for Celtic anytime soon.
