“He Would Make An Impact…” West Ham Vice Chairman’s Comments Suggest PL Club Are Eyeing Celtic Man

West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has lavished praise on Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian has won his second consecutive Scottish Premiership title with the Hoops and Brady believes that his success could be replicated south of the border:

“Celtic have a recent record of domestic dominance that looks set to continue. Postecoglou’s feats around the world suggest he would make an impact this [the English] side of Hadrian’s Wall.”

Postecoglou has been consistently linked with Premier League clubs over the past few months, with reliable sources having claimed that he has been considered for the jobs at Tottenham and Chelsea.

Whether the 57-year-old is actually a managerial candidate for West Ham, though, we shall have to wait and see. Brady is clearly an admirer and current manager David Moyes has come under scrutiny in recent months.

The Irons are in the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League, though, and if they go on to win the competition, you would expect Moyes to remain in the hot seat. If they fail to lift the trophy, speculation could increase, and Postecoglou’s name is likely to be added to the mix.
