Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor will be the subject of a £25m bid from Leicester in the summer, according to reports in the Scottish media.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen to link up with his former player, but supporters on Twitter don’t think the reported fee will be enough to persuade the Hoops into selling up:
No chance. He’s the next skipper! Can’t sell him.

We sold Tierney for 25m. Callum is better.

Worth more than that

Double it and Celtic might start talking.

He’s the reason @CelticFC are so good. Consistent & ever present. Worth more than Tierney.

25M is not huge!

Is that just for his right foot?

McGregor is one of Neil Lennon’s key players and it would be a huge surprise if the Scottish champions were even considering selling the midfielder.
The 26-year-old has been ever-present this campaign, starting every single league game for the club. In all competitions, he has scored 11 goals and laid on ten assists in 41 appearances.
McGregor is also being lined up as Scott Brown’s successor as club captain and considering that they only allowed Kieran Tierney to leave for £25m, it is reasonable to think that his ex-teammate will be worth considerably more.
