Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster put in an outstanding display as the Hoops secured a vital late win against Lazio. The 31-year-old made a number of excellent saves as he helped his team grab a crucial three points in the Europa League group stage clash.
He is currently on loan from Southampton for the rest of the season but supporters now want the Scottish champions to sign the player on a permanent basis following his performance last night:

No matter where he goes at the end of the season … he’ll never get that atmosphere and games like that elsewhere . Celtic is a special club. He stays ?

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. A match winning save by the Great Wall ?

Really pleased for FF that he has found himself again, after the struggles both on & off field that he had down here. Not sure what it was, but the change of scene & return has really done wonders for him.

Imo, the best keeper I’ve seen in a Celtic shirt.

Forster had been relegated to third-choice goalkeeper at the Saints but his form since his return to Scotland has been nothing short of top class. It seems coming back to an old stomping ground has returned his confidence.
Having worked under Neil Lennon during his first spell at Parkhead, it appears as though the Celtic manager gets the best out of the England international. Fans will be hoping the shot-stopper maintains his level for the rest of the season.
